Overwatch: D.Va
I was asked to create some fan art based on characters from the Blizzard game Overwatch. I did a couple of sketches of various characters in my sketchbook, before opting to go completely digital. Finally I decided that I wanted to create a piece based on D.Va. To me Tracer and Widowmaker are seen every where, so I thought that D.Va would be more interesting to work on.
The graphic was created as a vector in Adobe Illustrator on my Wacom Cintiq Companion 2. This way it could be easily resized or the colors could be adjusted if there was new skin released in the game. Thus, the digital illustration itself is very versatile.
