Not Your Average Princess Vol. 2
This project was part of a series of morning sketches that I shared on Instagram. Because the series was so popular, I decided to digitize the illustration of Snow White and Sleeping Beauty (Aurora).
The illustration was completed in Adobe Illustrator, thus Aurora is a vector graphic. The background was added in Adobe Photoshop.
The concept was to create a modern versions of Disney Princesses that had a rock and roll or punk feel. Each are holding a bottle of perfume as I thought it would be interesting, as it would also make the design more contemporary.
Aurora is also dawning Ace Frehley's Spaceman/Space Ace make-up from the band KISS. The tattoo was not in the original drawing, but added once I got into the digital phase of the creation.
